There are a couple of ways to get to the jet meet, one by ferry from the south, the other over a bridge on the north.
Ferry route is north of Seattle on I-5 to Hwy 525 or 526 to the Mukilteo ferry terminal which crosses to Clinton on
Whidbey Island. On the island, continue north on Hwy 525 approx. 23 miles to mile post 18 where you will reach the Navy OLF
air station, Coupeville, which will be on your left. Hwy 525 just before the OLF is wooded and then the area is
wide open and marked for low flying aircraft. Not too hard to find.
The second route is I-5 north to Mt. Vernon and then use exit to Hwy 20 then turn west towards Anacortes. Hwy 20 splits to
go south to Whidbey Island via Deception Pass at approx. 12 miles. The flying site is approx. 12 miles south of Oak
Harbor and will be on the right.
The Navy OLF has a control tower that you can see from the road. The pit area is south (left) of the control tower and a
15 MPH speed limit is enforced.
